Despite being a feisty kitten, Loki (now age 9) has become more chilled out over the years. Loki now spends most of his time curled up on his own, or with one of his humans. He gets on well with children, and can often be found sleeping in someone’s bed and loves to nuzzle in for strokes, although he doesn’t like being picked up so much.

Loki doesn’t seem to mind dogs, however he doesn’t get on with other cats so would need to be the only cat in the house.

About five years ago Loki had a bit of a health scare when he went into stress-retention (urinary retention caused by stress). Because of this Loki is currently fed a urinary diet (e.g. Royal Canin Urinary dry cat food, and one pouch of Perle Gourmet wet cat food per day) and has only suffered from stress-retention one other time since. 

Unfortunately, Loki’s family are emigrating to Australia, and Loki is unable to make the journey with them as the risk of the move being high stress and causing retention during the trip / quarantine is too high. Loki has moved around the UK a number of times, and has handled those changes well, so is looking forward to finding a new home somewhere in the UK.
